We’re proud to announce that we’re now partnered by the magic of mushrooms, after entering into a headline kit sponsorship agreement with Magical Mushroom Company®
Magical Mushroom Company® harnesses the natural flexibility and strength of mycelium, the material structure of fungi, to grow protective packaging at any scale by combining it with agricultural waste such as hemp, cork and sawdust.
This offers a safe, sustainable and totally home-compostable alternative to plastic foams. Ideal for packaging, horticulture and interior design solutions. You could say they’re solving the plastic problem with the magic of mushrooms and are demonstrating this can be industrially scaled.
Since 2020, they’ve produced over 1 million pieces of Mushroom® Packaging and by early 2023 they’ll effectively have removed more than 250 metric tonnes of EPS packaging from landfill.
